Barry K. Campbell devoted his career to public service in the District of Columbia Government. As a proven leader, visionary, manager and administrator, he demanded and received excellence and integrity from his colleagues and employees. The award in his name is given to an outstanding leader in the District of Columbia who has demonstrated a commitment to excellence, integrity and public service in the District of Columbia and/or the District of Columbia NFPBA Chapter. The Barry K. Campbell Hall of Fame and Scholarship Awards Gala was held on November 8, 2012 at the Washington Navy Yard.
